These brass orifices are a replacement for appliances that use male threaded orifices. They can be drilled to size to convert to natural gas or propane. Size is rated at 7mm, but actual size at the threads is 5.92 mm (standard equivalent of 0.233 inch or nearly 1/4 inch), so measure your orifices carefully before ordering. Many cooktops, free standing stoves, bar-b-ques, and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which usually feature a sealed burner design. These parts are specifically to convert the GE Monogram Model #ZGU36N6D rangetop from Natural Gas to Propane (LP). This kits contains 6 short orifices with #57 holes (13,061 BTU) and 6 long orifices with #80 holes (1,280 BTU). The inside threads are 1/8-27. Don’t let the gas size confuse you, the actual size of the female threads is 3/8-inch (see pic). Many cooktops, free standing stoves and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over hooded orifices. A comprehensive factory guide is included. This set includes 12 orifices for a stove with up to 6 burners to convert this unit from natural gas to propane.
