Similar to the BP-4T kit, but with additional parts (fuel lines and fittings). This is the kit you want if you’re converting from gasoline to propane and don’t already have a regulator. All you should need is a tank bracket and you’ll be set. Remove that expensive and pesky Aisan regulator and replace it with reliable, readily available Impco parts that will allow for cheaper replacement parts down the road. Millennium LP Propane Conversion Kit for 3 to 6 Cylinder Fuel Injected Engines up to 3.5 Liters Model LPM4 Comes with a Standard LP Regulator. How is the LP kit different from a CNG kit? The LP kit requires the use of an LP tank that is DOT approved. The tank is filled from LP filling stations using an LP filling nozzle. How the Diesel Kit Works This is an easy to install kit on diesel engines with a turbo. This is a dual fuel kit so the engine runs on both diesel and CNG at the same time. This kit will provide the engine with more power because the high octane of CNG and the high compression of a diesel engine are compatible, and extra fuel is added to the combustion process. The regulator is easily adjusted with the idle screw on the regulator so you get little or no CNG while at an idle. As you accelerate the engine will suck CNG from the regulator and into the air intake. The more throttle the more CNG. You will use less diesel as you will use less throttle. You will get about 25% more power. Most engines will use about 50% CNG and 50% diesel, and with no other adjustments needed. No programming of the controller is needed with this kit. The CNG is fed into the air intake hose before the turbo. The control on the dash lets you know if the CNG is being used and how much CNG is in the CNG tank. You can turn the CNG off or on with the push of a button on the dash. If you run out of CNG you will loose the power gained using CNG and continue just running on diesel. LP Conversion Kit for Diesel Engines over 8 Liters Model LPD8 Comes with 2 Standard Regulator. How is the LP kit different from a CNG kit? The LP kit requires the use of an LP tank that is DOT approved. The tank is filled from LP filling stations using an LP filling nozzle. The LP kit comes with an LP regulator and uses the same tubing to connect from the regulator to the tank. An adapter fitting to connect to an LP tank is included. There is no filling nozzle pressure gauge or level sensor supplied with LP conversion kits. Everything else is the same. THIS KIT IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN 2007 AND NEWER VEHICLES WITH NEWER EMISSIONS STANDARDS. We will need the following information about your vehicle when ordering a conversion kit: 1. Fill Nozzle Type Read the Fill Nozzle Options section below. Year of Vehicle 3. Make of Vehicle 4. Model of Vehicle 5. Number of Cylinders 6. Engine Size in Liters 7. Comments Leave any additional information or comments you may have. Fill Nozzle Options We have two fill nozzle options. Standard fill nozzle with 1/4 turn shutoff valve with 2 ports so it can be installed in-line from the cylinder to the regulator. This is what you should order unless you need one of the other options. Strait nozzle without shutoff valve. For installing in tight or hard to get to locations. Comes with an extra 1/2 length roll of tubing. It is connected directly to the tank valve. The regulator is connected directly to the other port of the tank valve. Pressure Switch Option (not included). To run CNG only when the throttle is pushed, order our Pressure switch model DPS to install on the pressure side of the turbo. This will prevent the CNG from coming on while at idle or while coasting. Instructions and a wiring diagram come with the pressure switch. This item can only be used with turbo diesel engine. Stainless Steel Fittings Option (not included). For a small additional cost we can supply 1/4″ or 3/8″ stainless steel fittings so you can install stainless steel tubing instead of the steel tubing that comes with our kits. We do not supply the stainless steel tubing. We recommend our steel tubing as it is lower in cost and much easier to install. Call to order if desired. How the Diesel Kit Works This is an easy to install kit on diesel engines with a turbo. This is a dual fuel kit so the engine runs on both diesel and CNG at the same time. This kit will provide the engine with more power because the high octane of CNG and the high compression of a diesel engine are compatible, and extra fuel is added to the combustion process. The regulator is easily adjusted with the idle screw on the regulator so you get little or no CNG while at an idle. As you accelerate the engine will suck CNG from the regulator and into the air intake. The more throttle the more CNG. You will use less diesel as you will use less throttle. You will get about 25% more power. Most engines will use about 50% CNG and 50% diesel, and with no other adjustments needed. No programming of the controller is needed with this kit. The CNG is fed into the air intake hose before the turbo. The control on the dash lets you know if the CNG is being used and how much CNG is in the CNG tank. You can turn the CNG off or on with the push of a button on the dash. If you run out of CNG you will loose the power gained using CNG and continue just running on diesel.
