These brass orifices are a replacement for converting Frigidaire cooktops, rangetops and free standing stoves from natural gas to propane (LP). Size is 1/8 27 threads. Don’t let the gas size confuse you, the actual size of the female threads is 3/8-inch (see pic). They will fit a number of units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over hooded orifices, so please view my video link to see how to verify orifice size fitment for your specific unit. This set includes 6 blank orifices with a starter hole that must be bored to size. Most cooktops come with a dual gas regulator that can be converted between natural gas and propane. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual. No other parts should be required to complete the conversion, so long as your stove uses a dual gas regulator. These orifices come with a #72 pilot hole, so they must be bored to suit your application. This is a special listing for a very specific application which involves the Viking VGRT 480 Series rangetop. This listing includes hooded orifices for that particular Viking Rangetop. These brass orifices are a replacement for stoves that use hooded orifices to convert from natural gas to propane (LP). Size is 1/8 27 threads. Many cooktops, free standing stoves, bar-b-ques, and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over these types of orifices. This set includes 7 orifices for a stove with up to 6 burners and a griddle. Main burner orifices (6) are bored to size #57, while single grille orifice is bored to size #56 to match the requirements of propane. Many cooktops, rangetops and free standing stoves usually come with a dual gas regulator that can be converted between natural gas and propane. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual details. No other hardware parts should be required to complete the conversion if your unit uses a dual gas regulator. IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE MAIN BURNER ORIFICES ARE FAT AND SQUATTY LIKE THE ONES SHOWN IN THIS LISTING AND THAT THE SIDE PAN STYLE BURNER ORIFICE IS THE STANDARD 5.92 MM ORIFICES USED ON MOST WEBER GRILLES. This listing includes a set of 4 Weber Genesis propane orifices. These brass orifices are a replacement for appliances that use male threaded orifices. Outside diameter of the threads on the larger orifices is 0.340 inches, and outside diameter of the threads on the smaller orifice for the side stove style burner is 5.92mm, so measure your orifices carefully before ordering. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual details. No other hardware parts should be required to complete the conversion if your unit uses a dual gas regulator. These orifices come drilled to the proper size to accommodate propane gas according to the BTU ratings stated above and a regulator rated at 10 W.
