These brass orifices are a replacement for converting Jennair singe, double or triple bay cooktops and rangetops from propane (LP) to natural gas. Size is 1/8 27 threads. They will fit Jennair Model 4380 series and a number of other Jennair units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over hooded orifices, so please view my video link to see how to verify orifice size fitment for your specific unit. This set includes 6 orifices; two #55 orifices (0.052 inches) for the 8,000 BTU burner grille, and four #53 (0.059 inches) orifices for the 10,000 BTU main burners. These cooktops usually come with a gas regulator that can be converted between natural gas and propane, and other manual adjustments must be made as well, so check your factory instruction manual. No other parts should be required to complete the conversion. Instructions from the Jennair installation manual are included with these orifices. This listing is specifically for the DCS-RGS-485GD range to convert the unit for use with propane. Other DCS range kits are available. Size of rearmost orifices is 1/8 27 threads, and the size of front (larger) orifices is 5.89 mm (standard equivalent of 0.233 inch or nearly 1/4 inch) and the size of the smaller orifice for the inner (low intensity) burner is 3.0 mm. Don’t let the gas size confuse you, the actual size of the female threads is 3/8-inch (see pic) on the bigger orifices. Many cooktops, free standing stoves and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over hooded orifices. A comprehensive factory conversion guide is included. This set includes 15 orifices for a stove with up to 15 burners to convert this unit from natural gas to propane. This kit includes orfices for all 5 open top burners (2 for each 15,000 BTU open top burner which is actually divided into two parts for each burner; 5 for the middle stove top simmer burners which require #80 orifices and 5 for the outer stove top burners which require #56 orifices), two #58 orifice for the griddle (or grille -depends on your set up) of 24,000 BTU, one #51 orifice for the main oven with 30,000 BTU, one #55 orifice for the 12 inch warming oven of 18,000 BTU, and one #55 orifice for the broiler of 19,000 BTU. The stock manifold output pressure for propane must be factory spec at 10.0 W. Contact me if your regulators output pressure is different. Many cooktops, rangetops and free standing stoves usually come with a dual gas regulator that can be converted between natural gas and propane. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual details. No other hardware parts should be required to complete the conversion if your unit uses a dual gas regulator. Lots of life left in it. Fits any v8 engine in car, truck, suv, or van. Very cheap to cruise around if you have propane switched over. Great for a business vehicle or someone who does a lot of driving. Comes with everything except some hoses and the tank.
