If you have questions, please ask. These are direct vent insert kits. Direct vent gas inserts typically use co-linear (side by side) 3 diameter, flex liners that connect to the insert and run up through your chimney to the cap. A direct vent insert kit is required when installing your DV gas insert such as the Trilliant, Ruby and Jasper Series. Typically, the liners would both reach from the unit to the chimney. However, depending on your circumstances, two of the same length liners might not work in your installation. The liner kit includes 2 – 3 flex liners one 30 ft. And one 4 ft. , stainless round termination cap and flashing. Majestic also offers a square black termination cap. BUT, this type of installation may be more susceptible to cold air infiltration and the effects of negative pressure on the appliance’s performance.
