This is a set of 7 orifices for the Viking GRT480-6GSS series rangetop (only 6 are shown, but this set has 7 orifices). These brass orifices include custom boring to meet the requirements and specs of the GRT series rangetop for a specific customer who will use it with propane as the fuel. Outside diameter of the threads is 0.388 at inches, so measure your orifices carefully before ordering. Many cooktops, free standing stoves, bar-b-ques, and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which usually feature a sealed burner design. This set includes 7 orifices for a stove with 6 burners and a griddle. Many cooktops, rangetops and free standing stoves usually come with a dual gas regulator that can be converted between natural gas and propane. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual details. No other hardware parts should be required to complete the conversion if your unit uses a dual gas regulator. These orifices come undrilled, so they must be bored to suit your application. If they are bored to suit a customer application, the orifices are non-returnable. This listing is specifically for the DCS-488 range to convert the unit for use with propane. Size is 1/8 27 threads. Don’t let the gas size confuse you, the actual size of the female threads is 3/8-inch (see pic). Many cooktops, free standing stoves and rangetops use these types of orifices and they will retrofit a number of other units which use burner assemblies with mixer tubes that fit over hooded orifices. A comprehensive factory guide is included. This set includes 17 orifices for a stove with up to 17 burners to convert this unit from natural gas to propane. This kit includes orfices for all 6 open top burners (2 for each 16,000 BTU burner which is actually divided into two parts for each burner; 6 for the middle stove top simmer burners which require long shank #80 orifices and 6 for the outer stove top burners which require #57 orifices), one #55 orifice for the grill (or griddle -depends on your set up) of 18,000 BTU, one #51 orifice for the main oven with 30,000 BTU, one #55 orifice for the 12 inch warming oven of 18,000 BTU, one #55 orifice for the broiler of 19,000 BTU and another # 56 orifice for the RGA broiler of 16,000 BTU. The stock manifold output pressure for propane must be factory spec at 10.0 W. Contact me if your regulators output pressure is different.
